Each class offers a loose structure with focus on mind-body connections that improve balance, mobility and strength. We want you to get exactly what you need from your time in the studio and will offer options to move fast if you want to move fast, slow if you like slow, and in anything in between.

These classes are taught by the recent graduates of the Sola School Yoga Teacher Training.

Sarah Trelease is the co-founder of Sola School, and her classes are reflective of the heart of the Sola curriculum.

Hatha Flow

(Sub for Sara Knapp)

"So first we need to recognize that the Hatha tradition isn't carved in stone; over it's thousand-year run, it went through any number of changes, just as all of us do as we grow older" (Richard Rosen, Original Yoga)

Can our asana practices inform the way we move our bodies off the mat, and outside of the studio? Can we treat functional movement patterns with a similar regard as the shapes we often describe as being as old as time? This class will explore the way we, in varying degrees, experience embodiment, gravity, and levity; each instructor bringing to the class their own particular curiosity and pace.

For more information, visit: http://www.northportlandyoga.com/.
